Happy New Year!! Hope everybody had a fun safe evening. Sue (B&B owner) made us a reservation at the Garrick's Head Pub. Food was ok, service lousy, nobody our age was eating there, and no festivities. She was sadly mistaken in thinking there would be festivities at that place. Let's not talk about it any more.
We spent today wandering around Bath some more, we crossed the Pulteney Bridge and found this:
I think all the smoke stacks are pretty cool.
We found a little park over there too with a cute little garden door:
Highlight of the day was having cream tea in a little coffe shop on Pulteney Bridge:
It's called cream tea because you get tea, scones, strawberry jam, and Devonshire cream. It's delicious.
the view from inside the shop of the River Avon:
more of the river:
That's all we have for today. Tomorrow we are traveling to Moreton-in-Marsh. We'll stay there for two nights and see some of the Cotswolds and Stratford-Upon-Avon (Shakespeare's birthplace!) Goodnight!
